YouTube becomes home to amazing Punch-Out!! strategies
After boxing my way to the game’s final character and hanging in there long enough to finally win by decision, my Punch-Out!! love affair seemed to come to an end.

Just because you can put down this guy doesn’t mean you’re a pro.
But now that I’ve discovered the talents of YouTube’s R151NGT3MP357 (don’t be deterred by that awful username), I’m itching to get back to the Wii and apply some of what I’ve learned.
By culling strategies from the Internet, applying his own ingenuity and combining that with the reflexes and memorization that Punch-Out!! requires, this YouTube user has quickly amassed a collection of videos showing ways to take out even the most challenging opponents in record time.
Spoilers abound, but see a couple such annotated videos here. Check out R151NGT3MP357 on YouTube for the rest, then see if you’re not tempted to get back in the ring like I am.
You wouldn’t know it from this video, but this fight is incredibly hard for the first 40 or so attempts it might take a first-timer to squeak a victory.
I can barely watch this one, let alone play this well. The annotations here are incredibly helpful.
