New Wii puzzle platformer announced for E3

Published by dan_doll at 1:31 pm under Wii Edit This

Majesco today unveiled its new, unique puzzle-platformer Flip’s Twisted World, exclusively for Wii. The game will be playable in demo form at E3 beginning June 2, but for now, Majesco has given us the first details and screenshots of the game.

Take a closer look at this screenshot and see if you start getting dizzy. Should be a pretty trippy game.

New character Flip gets pulled into a weird 3D, cube dimension after messing around with some kind of magical artifact. With that epic storyline out of the way, players will start journeying through the five worlds that make up the game, twisting the Wii Remote to turn the game world 90 degrees in any direction.

There will be five game worlds including this arid landscape, a snowy world and other genre clichés.

By turning ceilings into floors and otherwise disrupting the play environment, players will need to use their brain as much as their reflexes when it comes to platforming through these environments.

Presumably you’ll be able to run along the roof of this igloo with the twist of the Remote.

The music for the game is being handled by Tommy Tallarico who has quite a resume and even created the touring video game orchestra and light show, Video Games Live.
